I'm Andy Nethken and I love the role that design plays in our everyday lives. When I first learned about UX and realized that there was a place for design AND science to coexist, I couldn't believe it. 

I'm passionate about improving experience through design using solid UX principles. I'm also passionate about aesthetics and creating a memorable experience. I believe there's room for both in UX.

Outside of UX I'm also interested in video games, craft beer, cats, and travel. I have a Twitch channel where I play games and interact with my small, but loyal community. My wife and I try to take at least one big international trip a year and have visited Thailand, Mexico, Paraguay, Brazil, and the UK. I was a member of the San Diego craft beer community and have a certificate in brewing.
